Solid Foundations: A Strategic Cross Border Move in Surface Preparation Equipment

HWL Ebsworth has acted for US based National Flooring Equipment in its acquisition of South Australian based Syntec Diamond Tools bringing together international investment, and strong local and United States expertise. This deal underscores the increasing global interest in South Australia’s business landscape and the exciting opportunities ahead.

The transaction involved early engagement with the National Flooring Equipment team in January 2024 and culminated in a successful closing of the transaction in February 2025. Our comprehensive support spanned all aspects of the transaction including due diligence, Australian acquisition documentation, collaboration with National Flooring Equipment’s US attorneys, as well the property, workplace and IP aspects.
