Stewart is the State head of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Group and is a leading corporate lawyer with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, corporate governance, general corporate and commercial matters.

Stewart has acted for both public and private companies on various transactions and focuses on M&A. He also draws on his time as a senior in-house legal counsel at Virgin Australia.

Stewart advises clients on local and cross border transactions and has significant experience in the Food and Agribusiness, Technology, Transport and Health sectors.

Stewart has been recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a Recommended Lawyer in Commercial & Business Law in Queensland and previously shortlisted for the Finance Monthly Deal Maker Awards.

  • Macadamias Australia Advising the founders of Macadamias Australia in the sale of its farming and processing plant operations to PSP backed Stahmann Webster.
  • Poolwerx Corporation Advising the largest global franchise pool service brand, on the investment by Norwest Venture Partners.

  • Macadamia Processing Co Ltd (MPC) Advising on its acquisition of Pacific Gold Macadamias Pty Ltd and Macadamia Marketing International. The acquisition makes MPC the world’s largest macadamia processor and MMI the world’s largest macadamia marketing company.
