HWL Ebsworth advised the Gilbert family on the sale of the Phil Gilbert Motor Group and key dealership properties, to 4K Automotive Group. The transaction completed on 1 July 2024.

The Gilbert family and Phil Gilbert Motor Group have had a presence in the automotive industry for over 36 years representing several brands including Toyota, Hyundai and Kia across a number of Sydney locations.

The deal team was led by Maria Townsend, Partner, with Anthony Jreige, Partner, advising on property aspects. The team included Peter Pertsoulis, Associate, Tasman Lillioja, Solicitor, Martina Marinovic, Solicitor, and Deana Salib, Paralegal.
