HWL Ebsworth has advised NGP Group on the sale of its automotive dealership businesses, and key dealership properties in Victoria, to Eagers Automotive Limited. The transaction completed on 29 February 2024.

The deal included a range of luxury and premium automotive brands with locations throughout Melbourne and the Mornington region. The sale price was over $240 million and the businesses have an annual turnover of between $900 million and $1 billion, with approximately 770 employees.
