HWL Ebsworth successfully advised Codan Group (Codan), a South Australian based international technology company, on their acquisition of US based SKT2 LLC dba Kägwerks (Kägwerks). The transaction is due to complete in December 2024.
Codan provides technology solutions to government, corporate, NGOs and consumer markets with products sold in over 150 countries.
The strategic acquisition of Kägwerks aligns itself with Codan’s growth strategy of acquiring or developing complementary technologies. The acquisition of this global leader in tactical operator-worn networking communications technologies, strengthens and expands Codan’s Tactical Communications business unit offering as a comprehensive provider of wireless communications and radio solutions across military, law enforcement, unmanned systems, humanitarian and broadcast industries.
The HWL Ebsworth deal team was led by Jamie Restas (Partner) with support from Cam Steele (Partner), Daniel Kiley (Partner), Cameron Pitt (Solicitor) and Maximilian Soulsby (Solicitor).
