HWL Ebsworth has advised Bass Coast Shire Council (Council), in conjunction with Environmental Accounting Services (EAS), on regulatory issues and its options for funding increased habitat restoration on both public and private land within the Bass Coast Region.
HWL Ebsworth prepared a Report on carbon credits and financial structuring options, working with EAS on the technical matters, for Council’s consideration.
This work is a step towards Council’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2030 as part of their Climate Change Action Plan.
