RECORDING: Navigating the impact of COVID-19 on the workplace

Uncategorized

SESSIONRECORDING & PRESENTATION SLIDES
As vaccination rates across the country increase, and state borders and restrictions ease, pressure is growing on employers to make decisions on how their business will manage the risk of people contracting COVID-19 at work. Employers are now giving genuine consideration to the future of remote working arrangements, transitioning people back into the workplace and whether to implement mandatory vaccination policies.

In our webinar panel discussion, we unpack some of the key issues that are important for employers to consider as they lay their own pathway into this new world living with COVID-19.

Some of the issues we discuss, include:

  • Transitioning people back to the workplace - how to respond to resistance;

  • Safe workplaces (home or office) and the treatment of vaccinated versus unvaccinated people;

  • A mandatory vaccination policy - should we implement the same? And if we do, how, when, and what are the risks?

  • Privacy and disclosure considerations for vaccination status; and
    Workers compensation liability - physical and psychological injury claims.
