Her disputes experience covers arbitration, court proceedings, statutory adjudications and alternative dispute resolution processes in most Australian jurisdictions.

Experience

  • Australian Government (including Defence and Finance) on claims and disputes arising out of a range of facilities and infrastructure projects;
  • contractors and principals (including the Northern Territory Art Gallery Precinct and the Solomon Islands infrastructure program) on claims arising out of early contractor involvement delivery models;
  • John Holland in the Supreme Court litigation against the State arising out of the construction of the Perth Children’s Hospital;
  • a pipeline contractor on claims and disputes arising from a 195km water pipeline in north Queensland;
  • a fuel tank contractor on project delivery and a large adjudication application involving contract works, variations, delay and prolongation claims;
  • a residential developer in the Supreme Court of Victoria to recover its loss suffered because of a crane collapse during construction;
  • a construction manager in an arbitration to recover its costs for delay and variation claims arising out of a commercial fitout;
  • an aged care developer in the Supreme Court of Victoria in relation to structural defects; and
  • principals, contractors and subcontractors in relation to their rights under the applicable security of payment legislation (including payment claims, payment schedules, adjudication applications, adjudication responses, judgment debts and appeal rights).
