Steven Henderson

A property lawyer, Steven Henderson is a partner in HWL Ebsworth’s Brisbane Property Group.

Steven has advised property developers, investors and banks in all aspects of commercial, industrial, residential and rural property including purchase, sale, development, development joint ventures and leasing.

Steven’s extensive experience covers highrise office and residential apartment buildings, shopping centres, hotels, industrial and residential estates, cattle stations and distress sales for receivers and managers.


Steven’s experience includes advising:

  • Pointcorp on its sale of West End’s Riverside Corporate Park to a Chinese development company. The sale price for this property is the most expensive to date paid for a development site in Brisbane;
  • Amalgamated Property Group on its development of Aurora Tower (67 level residential), 179 Turbot Street Tower (26 level A-grade office) and redevelopment of Suncorp Plaza (24 level A-grade office);
  • GVK Hancock on its purchase of Biralee Station;
  • Star Entertainment Group on its purchase of Festival Car Park (10 level Brisbane CBD); and
  • Devine Limited on its development of 333 Ann Street (23 level A-grade office), ICB Central (11,000m2 A-grade office) and Citadines on Bourke (400 room hotel).
