Sonya specialises in the procurement and delivery of construction and infrastructure projects and is a member of the Board of Partners of HWLE. Her projects span a diverse range across a number of industry sectors including industrial, retail, commercial, residential and mixed use, education, FMCG, waste, airports, government infrastructure, roads, recreational and other civic projects.

Sonya has represented clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters and is highly regarded for her ability to facilitate project inception, her solution oriented approach and her deep industry knowledge.

Sonya is an accredited specialist in commercial litigation. She is recognised as a ‘Recommended Leading Front End Construction, Infrastructure and Major Projects Lawyer’ in Doyles Guide to the Legal Profession in 2023 and 2024.
