Sarah Carroll
Sarah has broad experience in the banking and financial services sector.
Sarah is focused on obtaining commercial outcomes for her clients. Sarah works with domestic and overseas banks, funds and corporates on complex secured and unsecured syndicated, club and bilateral corporate finance, real estate finance, agricultural finance, equipment finance, project finance and acquisition finance transactions and has extensive experience in the real estate sector, water rights and matters arising from the application of the Personal Property Securities Act.
Sarah has worked in Melbourne, London and Hong Kong and has advised clients across a range of jurisdictions including Australia, Europe, the Americas and Asia.
Experience
Sarah’s experience includes advising:
- Developers, property funds and debt financiers to property funds on student accommodation, acquisition and development facilities in multiple jurisdictions (including civil works and subdivision matters);
- Financiers on the establishment of lending platforms and bespoke lending structures;
- Corporates on capital raising in the bond markets in Australia, London and the US;
- Bank syndicates and sponsors on a number of renewables, energy and infrastructure projects; and
- Corporates (including listed entities) and their financiers on the use of existing/bespoke debt facilities for asset and corporate acquisitions.
Sarah also has particular expertise in matters arising in relation to the PPSA and assists clients with registrations, establishment of SPGs, internal compliance manuals, security reviews, removal of registrations, client training and litigation on PPS matters.
