Rachel Gregson is part of the NSW Real Estate and Projects Group.

Rachel has over 14 years broad commercial property experience in Australia with a focus on acquisitions and disposals, due diligence and leasing.

Rachel’s leasing practice includes acting for landlords and tenants on commercial, industrial and retail leasing including negotiating complex agreements for lease and leases.

Experience

Rachel’s recent experience includes advising:

  • Major service stations on leasing and related matters for a portfolio of properties owned or leased by major services station operators;
  • A major radiology group in relation to their portfolio of properties nationally including due diligence, negotiating leases and agreements for leases;
  • A licensed premises on the purchase, sale and leasing of licensed premises including negotiating of the lease and agreement of lease for the $4 million up-grade of the Quay restaurant, Circular Quay;
  • A property trust on the leasing and subsequent sale of a multi-tenanted building in Parramatta;
  • A mortgagee client in relation to a large parcel of rural land including drafting access agreements, developments agreements and sale agreements. Assisting client with bio-banking agreements, bio-banking structure and subsequent advice on sale of Biodiversity credits;
  • Cbus Property Group in relation to the David Jones Building (in joint venture with Scentre Group) and Newmarket Green (Inglis site) in Randwick including documenting and negotiating leaseback arrangements; and
  • A landowner on the purchase of property in Western Sydney, including the development and subsequent negotiation of an agreement for lease for the construction of the building and the lease of the entire 9 storey building to an Australian university.
