Pip has represented both private and public sector clients in the areas of planning, development, environmental law, compulsory land acquisition and liquor licensing. Pip frequently appears in the Environment, Resources and Development Court, Licensing Court and Supreme Court representing clients in planning appeals, development prosecutions, enforcement matters, judicial reviews and licensing matters.

  • Private water industry entities Advising operating sewer systems on waste treatment plant land tenure and pipe and pump infrastructure land access and rights including preparing licences, agreements, easements and statutory authorisations.
  • Local government Advising on approvals for substantial watercourse works. This included negotiation of access and licensing agreements with landowners and compulsory land acquisition processes.
