Patricia is a Notary Public and a Special Counsel in the Sydney Litigation team with over 15 years post qualification experience in large scale litigation and dispute resolution across a variety of matters and in various courts (including the High Court of Australia).
Patricia has acted for, and worked closely with, a broad range of clients from dispossessed owners of property, trustees and directors, companies in partnership disputes, banks, insurers and reinsurers and companies involved in mining and gaming.
Experience
Patricia’s experience includes advising:
- a well-known individual in highly contentious litigation involving multiple parties across a number of courts (including at the appellate level) against allegations of breach of trust (among others);
- a large bank in a regulatory investigation with an overseas component;
- companies involved in partnership disputes (including with insolvency elements);
- dispossessed owners of property in compulsory acquisition matters (including litigation);
- various individuals and companies in respect of regulatory investigations by the ACCC and ASIC; and
- individuals and companies in all matters relating to notarial requirements for overseas use, including notarising/witnessing documents and preparing Certificates of Good Standing for companies registered in Australia.
