Natalee advises clients on a broad range of contentious matters, encompassing general corporate and commercial disputes, insurance, consumer law matters, defamation, and property related claims. She has experience managing complex disputes across all jurisdictions. Natalee is known for her pragmatic and strategic approach to dispute resolution.

She is regularly instructed in urgent and high-stakes litigation by a diverse client base, including large corporations, government bodies, small businesses, and individuals.

Natalee also has experience in the regulatory space, representing clients in investigations by ASIC and Liquor and Gaming NSW, as well as in matters involving the ACCC.

  • Allianz Advising in the successful appeal against orders requiring it to indemnify the operator of a school in regard to multiple historical student abuse claims – Allianz Australia Insurance Limited v Uniting Church in Australia Property Trust (NSW) [2025] FCAFC 8 and in successfully opposing the associated special leave application in the High Court – Uniting Church in Australia Property Trust (NSW) v Allianz Australia Insurance Limited [2025] HCATrans 46.
  • A major reinsurer Advising in the settlement of a multi-national dispute regarding the reinsurer’s obligations to indemnify reinsured in relation to the settlement of a personal injury class action outside Australia.
  • A national supermarket chain Advising in the successful settlement of complex Supreme Court of NSW proceedings regarding an equitable lease dispute.
  • Individuals Providing advice in relation to shareholder disputes (including shareholder oppression) and defending claims of breaches of director’s duties.
  • The CEO of the local branch of a multinational youth organisation Advising in defamation proceedings where she alleged she had been defamed by a former member of the organisation.
