Max Williams

Max specialises in Wills and Estates Law, being an Accredited Specialist in this area and also holding a Master of Laws.

Max assists clients with their estate planning and navigating estate litigation, particularly Family Provision claims.

Max is also an adjunct lecturer with the College of Law, lecturing in the Master of Applied Laws program.

Experience

Max’s experience includes advising:

  • a private client on a Family Provision claim where the client needed to attend the final hearing by audio-visual link;
  • a private client on obtaining a grant of representation with respect to an informal codicil made in the USA;
  • a private client on changing the trustee of a family trust including the transfer of several properties owned by the trust;
  • a private client on defending Family Provision claims by her brothers; and
  • a private client with a blended family on estate planning.
