Mathew specialises in revenue, asset planning and anti-money laundering law.

Mathew assists clients in relation to tax and asset planning, tax controversy and anti-money laundering-related matters. He acts for individuals, families and businesses (including financial institutions).

Mathew is a Fellow of the Tax Institue, a Trust and Estate Practitioner (STEP) and an Industry Fellow of the Griffith/CBA Academy of Excellence in Financial Crime. Mathew’s academic qualifications include a PhD in taxation law (Atax, UNSW). He also teaches tax and related business law subjects at The University of Sydney. Mathew is the commissioned author of Thomson Reuters’ Banking and Finance AML product and has published extensively in taxation journals.
