Lewis is a Partner in HWLE’s Insurance Group. He specialises in the defence of personal injury claims, including public liability claims, product liability claims, claims brought by injured workers and drivers, and claims made by the Victorian Workcover Authority and Transport Accident Commission. He also specialises in property damage claims.
Lewis’ experience has seen him advise and act for property owners/managers, REITs, construction companies, hospitality businesses, food retailers, community organisations, and providers of recreational services and activities. He regularly conducts litigation in the Supreme, County and Magistrates’ Court of Victoria, as well as the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Additionally, Lewis advises insurers and policyholders on risk management-related issues and issues of policy interpretation.
