Leonie Beyers is a Partner in HWL Ebsworth’s Health group, advising healthcare professionals and medical defence organisations in complex and high value civil litigation including class actions, catastrophic injury and emerging or novel areas of law. She represents clinicians in regulatory and professional conduct matters before their Professional Councils, AHPRA and the HCCC. Leonie advises clinicians on employment matters, including hospital investigations, appeals to the Ministry of Health and unfair dismissal proceedings.
Leonie assists doctors respond to Medicare investigations and Professional Services Review matters. Leonie represents doctors in relation to disputes with their training organisation or College.
