Jane Wild

Jane’s core areas of focus are construction projects, commercial contracts and energy procurement. She assists clients throughout the entire life cycle of their project, from inception/tender phase through to project delivery including drafting all forms of project documentation, contract negotiation and administration with a focus on minimising the likelihood of disputes.

Jane works with a range of private sector clients including listed property trusts, developers, schools, faith based institutions, contractors, suppliers, tolling contractors and solar developers. Jane was recognised in 2015 by Doyle’s Guide as a recommended lawyer in the category of Leading NSW Construction Lawyers, recognised in Legal 500 as a “client favourite” and since 2019 by Best LawyersTM Australia  for Construction/Infrastructure Law.

Experience

Jane’s experience includes advising:

  • Dexus a large listed property trust for 12 years in relation to numerous and ongoing industrial, commercial and retail projects from new developments to refurbishments, drafting and negotiating ECI contracts, construction contracts, design and construct contracts, construction management arrangements, supply contracts, service agreements, and providing regular advice in relation to wide range of construction and energy related issues as well as construction related documentation and due diligence for acquisitions and disposals. Key projects include the Gateway retail redevelopment project, 44 Market Street redevelopment, the North Shore Health Hub project and industrial projects with anchor tenants;
  • St Basil’s aged care in relation to construction advice, documentation and service contracts;
  • Elanor Investors on early contractor involvement arrangements, and varied construction documentation for retail projects;
  • SCECGS Redlands in relation to the design, procurement and construction of the Senior School Campus upgrade project from inception through to project delivery and general construction and services documentation;
  • Various REITs on large market portfolio wide energy (gas & electricity, green products) procurement;
  • Q-Free Australia on numerous tolling and transport solution projects throughout Australia and related commercial contracts;
