James is Special Counsel in HWL Ebsworth’s transport practice group.
James specialises in advising airlines and insurers in relation to aviation and marine accident claims arising from personal injury and property damage. James advises maritime operators with regard to workers’ compensation claims by seafarers under the Seafarers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1992 (Cth). James also has experience in conducting recovery proceedings for commercial insurers in respect of multi-million dollar losses.
James is a member of the Aviation Law Association of Australia and New Zealand (ALAANZ) and has presented papers on aviation liability at aviation and insurance law conference
