Jacky Vetter

Jacky has experience practicing in administrative, Public and Regulatory Law.

She has experience including advising, representing and appearing as solicitor-advocate on behalf of various Commonwealth Government agencies in merits and judicial review matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Federal Courts.

Jacky also has experience advising in the areas of Dispute Resolution, Litigation, Professional Regulation, Public and Non-Statutory Inquiries.

Experience

Jacky’s experience includes advising:

  • Various Commonwealth Agencies in merits and judicial review proceedings before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Federal Courts, including Services Australia, the National Disability Insurance Agency, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the Minister for Immigration and the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations;
  • Various Commonwealth Agencies with respect to statutory interpretation, assisting decision-makers to exercise their statutory functions including reviewing evidence, drafting decisions and advising on procedural fairness; and
  • A Commonwealth Agency in information law matters, including assisting with responses to the Information Commissioner.
