Helen Kavadias

Helen advises in the protection, enforcement and commercialisation of all intellectual property rights, including copyright, domain names, confidential information, trade marks, patents, designs and plant breeders’ rights. In addition to being a lawyer, Helen is also a registered Australian & New Zealand Patent & Trade Mark Attorney and Notary Public (NSW).

Helen specialises in clearance and freedom to operate opinions, and in the prosecution of trade mark, patents, and design applications (including opposition, removal, re-examination, and revocation proceedings).  She also assists clients with the regulatory requirements associated with food & beverages, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

In 2018 & 2019, Helen was ranked as one of Australia’s recommended experts for prosecution and strategy in the World Trademark Review 1000. She was also listed as a leading IP Strategist in 2017 & 2018 by IAM Strategy 300.
