Helen Kavadias

Helen advises in the protection, enforcement and commercialisation of all intellectual property rights, including copyright, domain names, confidential information, trade marks, patents, designs and plant breeders’ rights. In addition to being a lawyer, Helen is also a registered Australian & New Zealand Patent & Trade Mark Attorney and Notary Public (NSW).

Helen specialises in clearance and freedom to operate opinions, and in the prosecution of trade mark, patents, and design applications (including opposition, removal, re-examination, and revocation proceedings). She also assists clients with the regulatory requirements associated with food & beverages, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Helen has been named as a recommended expert for trade mark prosecution and strategy by World Trade mark Review (WTR) 1000 from 2018 to 2021, and 2023 to 2024. She was also named as a world leading IP strategist by IAM Strategy 300 in 2017 & 2018.
