Elizabeth Macey is a Special Counsel in HWL Ebsworth’s Workplace Relations and Safety team.

Elizabeth has broad expertise in employment and workplace relations matters, having commenced her legal career representing employees in employment disputes, before moving to Employer Association, Australian Industry Group, where she provided advice, support and representation to employer members of the Association. She also spent several years as in house counsel at Big 4 Professional Services Firm, Ernst & Young. Elizabeth takes a commercial approach to providing employers with advice and support regarding workplace legal issues.

In 2024, Elizabeth was a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Corporate Counsel Awards for Professional Services Lawyer of the Year.
