- Personal injury defence Obtaining judgment for a shopping centre owner in the Victorian Court of Appeal (and resisting an application for special leave to the High Court) in respect of a claim for personal injury involving a “Santa Claus” actor who alleged that he had been assault whilst working at the centre.
- Property damage defence Acting for a rural corporate landowner in respect of a series of claims against it arising from property damage to adjoining land caused by a fuel reduction burn-off.
- Product liability defence Representing the supplier of electrical goods in respect of a substantial claim for fire damage to a domestic dwelling.
- Statutory insurer defence Obtaining judgment in Victorian superior courts in respect of claims made against shopping centre owners, property managers, owners and tenants of domestic premises, transport and logistics companies, engineering companies, contractors and a theatre restaurant by workers and by the Victorian Workcover Authority.
- Recoveries Acting for a large dairy product manufacturer, following a voluntary product recall, in respect of a multi-million dollar claim against the supplier of a defective component to the manufacturer.
