Christopher is a Special Counsel in the South Australian Banking and Finance Group. He has over 14 years’ experience in the banking and financial services sector, acting for all major Australian banks as well as mezzanine and private lenders, and corporate clients.  Christopher also regularly acts for government clients, providing specialist advice in relation to security arrangements and associated intercreditor and multi-party issues.

Working across all Australian jurisdictions, Christopher provides timely and commercial advice documenting, negotiating and settling a range of general corporate facilities, and residential and commercial property acquisition, investment and development facilities.

Christopher also provides specialist advice in relation to the Personal Property Securities regime.

  • Various State Governments Providing specialist advice, and structuring and negotiating security and multi-party arrangements, with respect to the procurement and operation of essential services aircraft.
  • Australian Government Agency Providing specialist advice with respect to certain aspects of the Personal Property Securities regime.
  • Global Investment Fund Advising in relation to a super-senior convertible note loan facility to a mining operator, including extensive associated due diligence and complex intercreditor arrangements.
  • Major Chinese Bank Providing advice and preparing and negotiating facility and security documents in respect of the refinance of a significant building in Adelaide.
