Ashley’s recent experience includes:

  • Energy: Acting for a major energy supplier in relation to commercial claims under various types of supply contracts and product liability disputes regarding economic losses including acting for a major energy supplier and a global infrastructure technology supplier;
  • Health: Acting for the subsidiary of a global health care and medical devices supplier in relation to a dispute involving the alleged breach of an agreement for sale of business and claims of misleading and deceptive conduct;
  • National and international business: Trademark, Copyright, Circuit Layouts, Designs and Patent disputes and Court proceedings;
  • Property: Disputes regarding agreements for sale of land, options, breach of lease covenants including to pay rent, quiet possession and make good obligations, encroachments, lodgement, extension and lapsing of caveats including work for developers, institutions and government;
  • Infrastructure: Acting for the Australian subsidiary of a global supplier to the railway industry in relation to allegations of trade mark infringement, passing off and breaches of the Australian Consumer Law; and
  • Joint ventures, shareholders and partnerships: Numerous joint venture, shareholder and partnership disputes involving property development, legal practice, medical practice, advertising and agri-business.
