Angela is a Partner in HWL Ebsworth’s Construction and Infrastructure Group and advises clients on the procurement and delivery of construction and infrastructure projects. As a front-end construction law specialist, Angela is familiar with the full suite of delivery methods, including design and construct, construct only, operation and maintenance, managing contractor, alliance, PPP, consultancies, services contracts, funding agreements, interface agreements and supply contracts. Angela also works with collaborative contracting models such as P13, Delivery Partner, Incentivised Target Cost, ECI Process Deeds and NEC4 contracts.

Angela’s practice has a strong emphasis in federal and state government projects and civil infrastructure including road, rail, energy and resources projects.

Experience

  • Sydney Metro West Advising a key participant for Sydney Metro West on head contract arrangements and subcontracting arrangements ($25.3 billion).
  • Voith Hydro Advising on the Snowy Hydro Reset Project, including the incentivised target cost contract, tripartite deed and works, supply and services contracts, drafting subcontracts for supply and installation and logistics, and advising on utility and grid connection ($12 billion).
  • Transport for NSW Advising on M6 Project Stage 1. This included the procurement of the Asset Management Deed which contained a construction phase interfacing with the D&C of the M6 Stage 1 and an asset management phase of up to 30 years ($3 billion).
  • Sydney Metro Advising on the City and Southwest Project, including road and rail interface agreements, utilities agreements, consents, landowner entitlements, injunctive rights and vesting rights ($12.5 billion).
