The first half of 2020 has been a great success for HWL Ebsworth’s M&A team, having ranked (equal) 3rd in Australia for advising on the highest number of mid-market (up to US$500 million) M&A deals, according to Refinitiv’s Global Mid-Market M&A Review H1 2020.
The firm continues to go from strength to strength with one of the most active M&A teams in Australia, and to date has advised public and private clients on M&A transactions valued at more than $3.2 billion.
HWL Ebsworth has also ranked 2nd in Western Australia for advising on the highest number of M&A transactions in the first half of the year, according to Business News.
The firm’s growth in mid-market M&A has been further recognised, having made the shortlist for Mid-Market M&A Legal Adviser of the Year (5-150 million USD) in the Mergermarket Australian M&A Awards 2020.
