HWL Ebsworth awarded regulatory 'Law Firm Of The Year' for the second year running

Firm News

HWL Ebsworth Lawyers is proud to have been named Australia’s ‘2018 Law Firm of the Year’ for the category of Regulatory Practice in the latest edition of Best Lawyers®.

Given the Best Lawyers® list is compiled purely on the basis of peer review, the firm was particularly delighted to have received this ranking for a second year in a row, having also been awarded this accolade in the 2017 awards.

HWL Ebsworth’s Regulatory Practice extends across multiple industry areas including Financial Services, Government, Energy & Resources, Workplace Relations & Safety and Litigation.

We would also like to individually acknowledge the following practitioners who featured in the Best Lawyers© list for Regulatory Practice (2018).

These endorsements recognise our team’s strength in these areas and we wish to thank each of our team members for their ongoing efforts.

Note to editors:

HWL Ebsworth is the largest legal partnership in Australia according to the most recent partnership surveys published by The Australian and the Australian Financial Review and is the only commercial law firm with an office in every Australian State and Territory.

The firm comprises 1,080 staff including: 217 Partners, 538 other legal staff and 325 support staff across offices in ten locations – Adelaide, Alice Springs, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Norwest (North West Sydney), Perth and Sydney.

HWL Ebsworth is an independent, nationally integrated, full service commercial law firm, providing tailored and commercially oriented legal services.

HWL Ebsworth operates a different business model to the other leading national law practices, and this allows us to offer unrivalled value for money without compromising quality and service. Our low ratio of solicitors to partners ensures that our clients receive optimal access to partner resources for all matters.
