HWL Ebsworth has advised Eagle Health Holdings Limited (ASX:EHH) on its initial public offering and listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), raising a total of $25 million. Shares in EHH began trading on 3 July 2017 under the ASX code EHH. At listing EHH had a market capitalisation of $125 million based on its offer price of $0.40 per share.
Melbourne-based corporate lawyers Thomas Kim (Partner) and David Woodford (Special Counsel) led the capital markets transaction, supported by an Australian based lead manager, and China based corporate advisor and legal advisor.
EHH is a vertically integrated nutritional products business that aims to help people live healthier lives by developing, manufacturing, marketing and distributing a range of health food products and nutritional and dietary supplements under its own brand in China. EHH distributes its products through a broad range of channels, including pharmacies, health food stores, trading companies, supermarkets and online channels, covering 23 provinces and autonomous regions throughout China.
In Australia, EHH is seeking to add to its product portfolio by sourcing Australian manufactured nutritional products and ingredients to export to China.
EHH’s ASX listing further strengthens HWL Ebsworth’s capital markets practice, and in particular, its Asian capability by facilitating Asian inbound and outbound investment.
