HWL Ebsworth has advised Dulux Group Limited (Dulux) on the acquisition of the Paint Spot group.
The Paint Spot group comprises 16 Melbourne based independent paint specialists trading under the Paint Spot brand. The Paint Spot group trades across Melbourne and regional Victoria. With over 100 paint specialists, Paint Spot is one of Melbourne’s largest paint specialists.
The transaction involved the acquisition of 16 separate businesses on the same day for cash purchase price. It completed in late December 2019.
The deal team was led by Brendan Earle with assistance from Connie Lambropoulos, David Marriott, Emma Brand, Tim Frost and Karen Fairbairn.
