HWL Ebsworth acts for Centuria on the $381 million acquisition of two office properties and associated capital raisings

HWL Ebsworth has advised Centuria on the acquisition of two office properties in fringe CBD locations across Sydney and Perth for $381 million and on the associated capital raisings of $100 million by Centuria Capital Group (ASX: CNI) and $273 million by Centuria Metropolitan REIT (ASX: CMA).

Partners James Lonie and Grant Hummel led the capital raisings team and Anthony Jreige led the property team. Hanna Posa (Senior Associate), Rita Mikhael (Solicitor) and Kevin Dong (Solicitor) worked on the transaction.

M Grant Nichols, CMA Fund manager, said: “The acquisitions are high quality A-grade office properties, strategically located in fringe Sydney and Perth CBD locations near key transport infrastructure and retail amenity.”

HWL Ebsworth has acted for Centuria on a number of capital raisings including in 2018 to fund a $500 million office property acquisition.
