HWLE advises shareholders of Leed Engineering and Construction on acquisition by Mott MacDonald

HWLE has advised the shareholders of Leed Engineering and Construction through its acquisition by JN Bentley, the UK contracting arm of Mott MacDonald, the global engineering consultancy.
Leed is a multi-disciplinary engineering and construction company, specialising in complex infrastructure projects. Founded in 2001, the business has grown rapidly to become a national infrastructure contractor with a team of over 350 people and offices in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.
JN Bentley has a long history in the UK construction market, delivering civil engineering contracting services, together with mechanical and electrical expertise, predominantly for clients in the water sector.
Leed Managing Director, Craig Laslett, said ‘Leed is very fortunate to be entering this next phase alongside such a respected and successful partner in JN Bentley. The alignment of our capabilities, values and approach positions us strongly for the future, and we are confident that working together will further cement Leed’s place as a leader in water infrastructure in Australia’.
