It is with great sadness that the partners of HWL Ebsworth announce the passing of Michael Connolly after a brief battle with cancer.

Michael joined HWL Ebsworth’s Sydney Workplace Relations & Safety team in February 2009, having previously worked at Minter Ellison, Clayton Utz and WorkCover Authority of New South Wales.

Michael dedicated himself to creating a high performing and collegiate team within our Sydney office. He inspired his team with his client focus, his integrity and his commitment to mentoring his junior staff. Michael’s particular expertise in workplace health and safety ensured that he was a highly valued advisor to a broad range of commercial and government clients.

Michael will be sorely missed by his fellow partners and friends within the firm.
