HWL Ebsworth has advised Leda Group on its recent acquisition of one of the Gold Coast’s last remaining prime residential land development sites.
Leda Group paid close to $200 million for the site in the busy Coomera-Pimpama corridor. The site is currently zoned for residential land development with an estimated 4000 dwellings to be constructed.
The purchase was finalised after an extended period of time in negotiations after Leda Group was the successful tenderer.
The transaction was handled by members of our Brisbane Real Estate and Projects team including: Jonathan East (Partner); Katrina Brown (Special Counsel); and Sherryn Armstrong (Senior Associate) and adds to an impressive list of property acquisitions and disposals completed by the team this financial year.
