Leading independent Australian law firm HWL Ebsworth Lawyers has announced that it has appointed Graeme Dennis as a partner within its Energy and Resources team.
Graeme joins HWL Ebsworth’s Sydney office from Clayton Utz where he was a partner.
Graeme has advised on the development and acquisition of a range of energy projects, including power stations, gas pipelines, solar PV, energy storage and wind farms.
Graeme is also widely considered to be one of Australasia’s leading specialists in carbon trading, emission permits and energy trading, including the development of energy futures, swaps and hedges.
Graeme’s extensive experience extends to energy market regulation and reform, having advised energy producers and Government departments across Australia on regulatory matters.
Graeme has repeatedly been recognised as a leading lawyer by Doyle’s Guide, Best Lawyers, Chambers Global and Asia and IFLR1000.
