Steven Jamieson
Steven is a Special Counsel at HWL Ebsworth with experience in all areas of real estate including due diligence, capital transactions, development, fund-through arrangements and leasing. His property experience extends to a wide range of settings including residential, commercial, rural, industrial, education, health and mixed use projects.
Steven has acted for a wide variety of public and private sector clients including local governments, listed and private companies, local and national property developers and high net worth individuals.
His work has resulted in his being acknowledged as one of Doyles Guide’s 2020 Australian Property & Real Estate Rising Stars.
Experience
Steven’s experience includes advising:
- ASX 50 listed companies and their subsidiaries in various industries in relation to their national leasing portfolios;
- A national healthcare services company in relation to the development of new clinic sites across Australia;
- A foreign sovereign wealth fund in relation to its Brisbane CBD and inner city office and retail assets;
- National listed and unlisted property funds in relation to the acquisition, leasing and disposal of their Brisbane CBD and CBD fringe office assets and regional Queensland retail assets;
- A Queensland based developer in relation to a $120m+ value mixed-use development being carried out in partnership with the State of Queensland, in relation to structuring, retail leasing and off-the-plan residential sales;
- A Brisbane based developer in relation to its fund-through developments of service station and convenience retail projects;
- A Brisbane based developer in relation to the development, leasing and sale of a large suburban Brisbane shopping centre with a transaction value exceeding $150m;
- Private commercial developers in the development, leasing and sale of small to medium assets including stand-alone service stations, motorway service centres, business parks, local shopping centres and childcare centres; and
- Private residential developers in the development and sale of off-the-plan residential projects in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Mackay and Townsville.
