Paul joined HWLE in 2008 and is a Partner in the Construction and Infrastructure Group. Paul specialises in dispute resolution with a focus on construction matters and prides himself on knowing the client’s business and providing accurate, timely legal advice which meets the client’s budget and commercial requirements. He has appeared as advocate in numerous mediations, arbitrations and litigation in Australia, England and Asia.

After four years at the Victorian Bar, Paul moved to work in Thailand and as indicated in Asia Pacific Legal 500, has advised clients on a number of projects in the region including Bangkok’s new airport and on contentious matters arising from Bangkok’s largest wastewater project.

Paul has been recognised as a recommended lawyer in Doyles Guide 2023 for Leading Construction and Infrastructure Litigation lawyers in Victoria and is a co-author of Victorian Pleading Precedents 1997.
