Eloise is a corporate and commercial lawyer with expertise in advising privately owned companies (including large family-owned businesses), multinationals and foreign owned subsidiaries in connection with all aspects of corporate and commercial law matters.

Eloise’s expertise includes advising on and managing mergers and acquisitions, the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts and international trade and commerce with a key focus on manufacturing, distribution and agency arrangements across industries.

Eloise regularly assists clients with cross border transactions, due to originally having qualified and practised as a corporate and commercial lawyer in England & Wales and then as a lawyer in Australia. Having gained extensive international experience across two jurisdictions Eloise also assists with a range of commercial matters through the life of businesses from start up to exit including by way of trade sale, management buy-out or other succession planning options.

Acting for large privately owned companies and family-owned businesses in Australia, Eloise also assists a number of global leaders and multinationals with head offices in the UK, Europe, the US and Asia Pacific.

  • An Amsterdam based company within the Financial holding companies industry on its acquisition of a leading supplier of ballistic protection to the Australian Defence force;
  • A German manufacturing company in the electrical industry on the acquisition of a Brisbane based manufacturer;
  • An Australian importer on cross border distribution agreements, supply agreements and strategic acquisitions in the supply chain;
  • A large Australian family owned business in the manufacturing industry on cross border transactions in South Africa, the US and Indonesia;
