Bronte Lawrence

Bronte has spent most of her career working in personal injury litigation, representing State Government, private insurers, self-insured corporates and claimants. She has a broad range of experience advising on claims arising under workers’ compensation (both state and federal), third party motor vehicle and general liability.

Bronte is an experienced dispute resolution advocate, with extensive experience in representing clients in all stages of the WorkCover WA Conciliation and Arbitration process, as well as in the District Court.

Bronte’s focus is on providing technically sound and commercially focused outcomes for her clients.

Experience

Bronte’s experience includes advising:

  • Workers’ compensation insurers: Advising workers’ compensation insurers and claimants on the application and interpretation of the Workers’ Compensation & Injury Management Act 1981 (WA);
  • Workers’ compensation insurers: Advising workers’ compensation insurers and claimants on the merits of, and dispute resolution strategy for, litigation commenced at WorkCover WA and in the District Court, including avenues of appeal; and
  • Workers’ compensation insurers: Advising and representing insuers in relation to disputes against other employers and insurers, incluing in claims for recovery;
  • Workers’ compensation insurers: Representing insurers and insureds to achieve commercially sound settlements in relation to complex claims.
