Benjamin is a Special Counsel in HWL Ebsworth’s Sydney Litigation Group who specialises in acting in complex and large commercial disputes.
Benjamin has extensive experience assisting clients with a wide range of commercial disputes including disputes involving fraud, contracts, real property, partnerships and joint ventures, shareholders and directors, and intellectual property.
Benjamin regularly acts for a diverse range of clients across various sectors including financial services, IT property, infrastructure, and local government.
Benjamin approaches disputes with a high attention to detail and takes pride in implementing innovative and effective strategies to ensure that each client’s commercial needs are catered for.

Benjamin’s experience includes advising:
- A major property development company on complex issues surrounding a joint venture agreement;
- A multinational car sales company on issues surrounding misleading and deceptive conduct and other complex contractual issues;
- A local government authority on the extinguishment of an easement and breach of contract;
- A major waste management company on claims of negligence and nuisance;
- A shareholder of a large retirement village on a shareholder dispute involving claims of oppressive conduct;
- A group of companies in relation to a dispute concerning fraud allegations and breach of fiduciary duties; and
- Various clients on obtaining and resisting injunctive relief.
