Annie is a Partner in the Banking and Financial Services group at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers.
She acts for and advises international and Australian financial institutions, corporations, as well as
non-bank lenders on domestic and multijurisdictional transactions.
Annie has practiced in both Australia and the United Kingdom and brings with her experience on a broad range of financing transactions, with a focus on acquisition finance, real estate investment and development finance and other general corporate finance transactions across various industries.
Experience
Annie’s experience includes advising:
- A major European bank as lead counsel on a complex multi-stream transaction spanning 6 jurisdictions, including a €300 million syndicated real estate investment transaction;
- A large provider of public transport in Australia and New Zealand on the financing of a AUD163 million joint venture acquisition of a 900-fleet charter bus operation in Australia;
- A major Australian bank on a multi-tranche acquisition and construction facility to a large storage facility provider which operates 20+ facilities in Australia;
- A major Australian bank on a multi-tranche finance transaction for the staged acquisition of physiotherapy practices spanning across Australia and New Zealand;
- A major Australian bank on the financing of 6 retirement villages operated by a large Australian retirement living operator in Australia;
- A major Australian bank on the financing of 7 aged care facilities across NSW;
- A major international investment bank on the financing of an independent education provider; and
- A major Australian bank on the financing of various facilities provided to a large number of independent schools owned and operated by a religious institute in Australia.
