HWL Ebsworth advises Bellevue Gold on $131 million capital raising

03 September 2021

HWL Ebsworth advised Bellevue Gold Limited (Bellevue Gold) on its oversubscribed fully underwritten $106 million institutional placement and proposed non-underwritten share purchase plan to raise up to an additional $25 million.

Bellevue Gold owns and operates the Bellevue Gold Mine in Western Australia, one of the highest grade gold discoveries in the world. The mine will be fully funded to first production thanks to the capital raising and a credit-approved project loan of $200 million from Macquarie Group Ltd.

Partner’s Shaun Hardcastle and Deanna Carpenter advised Bellevue Gold on the capital raising with support from solicitor James Roberts.

The team at HWL Ebsworth has acted for Bellevue Gold on multiple transactions, raising over $290 million via placements and share purchase plans.

Macquarie Capital (Australia) Limited, Canaccord Genuity (Australia) Limited and Goldman Sachs Australia Pty Ltd acted as joint lead managers and underwriters to the placement.
