Victoria McGie

Victoria McGie is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial Team. Victoria drafts, negotiates and advises upon all types of commercial contracts. Victoria has particular expertise in advising upon contracts for front-end construction, infrastructure and energy and resource projects (including EPC and O&M contracts).

Victoria’s clients include developers, local governments, resource companies, contractors and not-for-profits.

Victoria has lived and worked as a lawyer in the United Kingdom, Australia and Abu Dhabi, and is dual qualified to practice in Western Australia and the United Kingdom.

Experience

Victoria’s experience includes advising:

  • Calidus Mining on procurement strategies, RFTs, an EPC and construction contracts for a gold processing plant;
  • BCI Minerals on procurement strategies, RFTs and contracts for a large minerals extraction/processing plant;
  • Wood Group with bespoke supply, construction and consultancy contracts for their EPCM role on a large lithium processing project;
  • IPIC on the construction of a multi-billion dollar oil pipe line in the Middle East;
  • City of Stirling on the RFTs and a construction contract for the Stephenson Avenue Extension; and
  • Commercial developers on ECI and construction contracts for multiple aged care residential developments.
