Experience

Rupert’s experience includes advising:

  • Centuria Capital in respect of various major Victorian acquisitions, including the:
    • $417M acquisition of the Telstra Data Centre in Clayton;
    • $205.1M acquisition of 101 Moray Street, South Melbourne;
    • $224M acquisition of 1 McNab Avenue, Footscray;
    • acting for Centuria generally in relation to its Victorian office and industrial leasing matters;
  • Hines in relation to the acquisition of several ‘build to rent’ development sites;
  • Grocon in relation to the acquisition and development of several ‘build to rent’ and mixed-use developments, including Richmond Plaza and 685 La Trobe Street;
  • Pace Development Group in all of its property related matters, including residential and commercial development, leasing and commercial property transactions;
  • Poly in relation to the negotiation of its anchor lease at 1000 La Trobe Street to Myer;
  • Welsh Group in relation to the acquisition of the Armstrong Creek Town Centre and the subsequent leasing of the centre, including preparing standard leasing documentation and negotiating various agreements for lease and leases in the centre; and
  • A developer advised in negotiating a development agreement between 3 adjoining landowners to deliver a new secondary school, up to 3,000 residential lots and a neighbourhood activity centre.
