Natalya advises on corporate and commercial transactions and projects.

Natalya has extensive experience in private M&A, joint ventures, government projects and contracts, commercial contracts and the China market generally. She has also advised on funds management including unit trusts and advised on corporate governance matters generally.

Natalya speaks, reads and writes Mandarin Chinese at an advanced level and worked for several years as a lawyer in Hong Kong and the PRC. Natalya has also worked in London, the UAE and in Bahrain.


Natalya’s experience includes advising:

  • Chinese State Owned Enterprise subsidiary on the listed subsidiary of a Chinese state owned enterprise acquire US$10 billion in upstream oil and gas assets in a number of countries globally;
  • ASX-listed mining company on the acquisition and sale of a number of coal mines and joint venture interests in Australia;
  • Commonwealth and State government on transport and infrastructure projects and government contracts generally;
  • UK infrastructure fund on several acquisitions of stakes in PFI projects;
  • Australian fund manager on the establishment of a unit trust for real estate assets;
  • ASX-listed energy company on the sale of its interests in three cogeneration power stations in Australia; and
  • Leading Australian property group the development and sale of its tri-generation thermal energy plant at a 5 Green Star rated park development in Sydney.
