Marianna Parry specialises in corporate and commercial law working closely with corporate clients ranging from start-ups to established public companies. Her areas of expertise comprise public and private mergers and acquisitions, structuring, VC and PE transactions, corporate governance, capital raising, joint ventures, cryptocurrency, and corporate matters with a dispute resolution element.
Marianna has an active interest in the biotechnology sector, having a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science from Monash University. She is also a director of a biomedical visualisation company. Marianna loves the law and working with clients from diverse backgrounds, being herself a native Russian speaker of Ukrainian heritage. Her differentiation is in nuanced knowledge of the law combined with ability to quickly diagnose transaction issues and steer the transaction towards the outcomes that her clients want.
Marianna earned the Supreme Court Prize and University Medal in Law from Monash University in 2010 and was an Editor of the Monash University Law Review. In 2019 Marianna was the winner of the HWL Ebsworth Professional Award for Excellence, Melbourne Office, recognising her hard work and commitment to her clients.
