Kristie Schubert

Kristie specialises in tax controversy, tax risk management and tax dispute resolution across all State and Federal taxes.

She represents individuals, small, medium and large corporations all the way through to large multinationals subject to risk reviews and audits. She also advises and represents clients in respect of objections, as well as litigation in the Tribunals and Courts.

In addition to many years of private practice in the legal arm of a big four accounting firm (both in Australia and the UK), Kristie has also previously worked at the ATO as a Senior Litigator, as well as in the role of Director of Tax Controversy for a large multinational company. This experience is unique, giving her the benefit of experience, at senior levels, across the three lenses of a tax dispute (client, adviser and tax authority). This breadth and depth of experience sets Kristie apart from other advisers in this field.

In addition to being a lawyer, Kristie has a Master of Taxation and is a Chartered Tax Adviser.
